Cross-stitch 003

Here's a brand new Cross-stitch puzzle entitled "Cross-reference" and this time it is a tricky one with the many letters of the quotation scattered over relatively few and difficult clues.

Treat Cross-stitch 003 as a traditional Double Crostic puzzle. When you have found the quotation, the author's name and the title of the work from which the quotation has been sourced, try your hand at the arrow-maze which twists and turns through the puzzle. As promised, you will find an embedded cross-reference of a kind: the title of a related work...we think.

This CROSS-STITCH rated: RUTHLESS

I had my daughter film the effects one of these Cross-stitch puzzles had upon my person. Needless to say, I was in quite a dizzy mess.
