Crime and mystery is the theme of this month's Cross-stitch puzzle, "IT'S CRIMINAL!"

There are clues for you to solve then detective work to do! Solve the clues then transpose the individual letters into the grid according to the alphanumerical references. You'll reveal the mystery quotation!

Remember, there are numerous leads to follow in a Cross-stitch investigation. The first letters of your answers in order will spell the name of the author and the title of the work from which the quotation was sourced, so it is possible to conduct your investigation working backwards and forwards between the clues and the grid.

And just when you think it is all over, a twist! Follow the mazelike path of arrows through the grid to reveal one last mystery message. Good luck.
